How to treat Staph Pneumonia:
- Flucloxacilline 1-2 gm/6 hrs LV plus clarithromycin 500 mg/12 hour LV.- Oral therapy can be started when fever subsides.
- Treatment for at least 2 wks
- Vancomycin (vancocin) for MRSA 0.5-1 gm LV/12 hour.
